How MyHalalHome works behind the scenes
Who we are, how we would be paid, how comparisons are built and what is not yet in place. Each section states its current status.
Regulation and consumer protection
Home purchase plans are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and firms that advise on or arrange them must be authorised. MyHalalHome is not authorised and does not advise on or arrange home finance. Before offering introductions or personalised comparisons we will either become authorised or work through an authorised firm, and we will name it here.
You can check any firm on the FCA register.

Sharia governance

For every live entry we intend to name the reviewing scholars or board and link to their published approval. Where approval documents are not public, we will say so.

How comparisons work
Every entry uses the same fields, so arrangements can be compared like for like. Figures that cannot be confirmed show as Not provided. Each entry is marked Illustrative or Verified, and verified entries show the date they were checked and the source.
Entries currently appear in a fixed order chosen to explain the differences. Any future ranking rules will be published here before they are used.

Your data and our content
We only collect what you choose to send us, such as when you register interest. The questionnaire and comparison work in your browser and send nothing to us. Guides show who reviewed them and when. To report an error, use the contact page.
