The model, the dependencies and the risks

MyHalalHome is pre-launch and pre-revenue. This page separates what is confirmed from what is assumed, targeted or unresolved.

The problem

Sharia-compliant home finance is hard to compare. Structures use inconsistent terms, headline payments hide fees, ownership and exit terms, and households act alone with little influence over a small number of providers.

The proposed model

Three functions that are usually separate: comparison that shows the whole arrangement, preparation that helps households arrive at an adviser informed, and a collective that turns verified demand into negotiating leverage. Revenue would come from referral fees paid by authorised partners and, potentially, provider participation fees.

Market and alternatives

Households currently rely on specialist brokers, provider websites, general mortgage comparison sites and community advice. Market sizing will be added here with sources.
